ACCESS TEAM CENTECHQuantum on Winning Team for Air Force ACCESS Program

(Huntsville, AL, March 29, 2012) — Quantum Research International, Inc. (Quantum) is pleased to announce that our teaming lead, THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. (CENTECH), was awarded one of 19 Acquisition of Consolidated Enterprise Support Services (ACCESS) Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to support the United States Air Force / Air Force Materiel Command (USAF/AFMC), Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), at Wright-Patterson AFB (WPAFB), Ohio.  The ACCESS contract provides for technical and acquisition management support to supplement Government organic resources at WPAFB. Quantum is part of the integrated team assembled by CENTECH to provide support in the areas of Management and Professional Support Services; Studies, Analyses and Evaluations; and Engineering and Technical Services.

This maximum $950M IDIQ is the follow up to the Consolidated Acquisition of Professional Services (CAPS) contract vehicle and will provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) to the USAF AFMC complex, including Headquarters AFMC, ASC, the Air Force Institute of Technology, the Air Force Research Laboratory, the Air Force Global Logistics Support Center, and the National Air and Space Intelligence Center, as well as other potential customers in the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base military-industrial complex. Task orders will be issued to cover a broad range of A&AS services designed to efficiently meet the cradle-to-grave-life cycle management goals for warfighting systems, including research and development, acquisition, testing, and sustainment.  A&AS services, including defined scope tasks, may be performed in conjunction with any and all new and existing USAF system of systems, family of systems, platforms, systems, subsystems and items.
