The Ford Transit provides lower fleet maintenance and operations costs in comparison to other SNG vehicles. No Commercial Driver’s License is required to operate the SatCaster Live vehicle.

SatCaster Live | The NOW Generation of Satellite News GatheringThe heart of the SatCaster Live is a self-hosted very small aperture terminal (VSAT) satellite system that transmits live HD broadcast quality video over the internet. This means there are no range or line of sight restrictions during broadcasts. Since it is self-hosted there is no need to purchase costly dedicated satellite time. Designed for one-person operation, a single reporter can rapidly do it all – drive, set-up, configure, test, edit, and broadcast live high definition streaming video. SatCaster Live provides end-to-end broadcast video, both live and file based. System mobility and ease of set-up means breaking news is on the air within minutes of arrival, without a limitation of cost or distance, providing live streaming video over the air, on the web and on mobile devices.
