Mr. Dick Wilbanks Assumes Leadership of Quantum’s Missile Defense and Fires Support Group

(Huntsville, AL - June 24, 2009) — Quantum Research International has reorganized multiple divisions within the company to form a new Missile Defense and Fires Support Group, focused upon the integration of its Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC), Program Executive Office, Missiles and Space (PEO M&S), and U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery School (USAADASCH) business bases in Huntsville, AL; Washington,DC; El Paso, TX; Lawton, OK; Fort Bragg, NC; Eglin AFB, FL; Alaska, and Israel. Thomas (Dick) Wilbanks has accepted the position of Group Manager for this new organization, as well as Capture Manager for Quantum's Missile Defense Agency Engineering and Support Service (MiDAESS) and Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance Contract (SETAC) proposal initiatives. Mr. Wilbanks is a retired Air Defense officer, and prior to joining Quantum, was the Director of Huntsville Operations for BAE Systems, as well as the Program Manager for the SMDC SETAC contract. He has over 30 years of leadership and program management experience in advanced weapon systems engineering, analysis, studies, and management.
